The AutoPot AQUAbox Spyder is an advanced automatic irrigation system designed for vegetable gardens, allotments, and raised beds. It operates without electricity, pumps, timers, or mains water and connects easily to a rain barrel or water reservoir.
Installed directly in the soil, the AQUAbox Spyder delivers consistent sub-surface watering using AutoPot’s proven AQUAvalve technology, ensuring plants receive exactly the water they need.
Each AQUAbox Spyder irrigates an area of up to 1.2 m² (approximately 1 x 1 m). Water is evenly distributed through 12 capillary strips placed beneath the soil surface, promoting healthy root growth and minimizing evaporation.
Multiple AQUAbox Spyder units can be linked together to irrigate larger growing areas using a single reservoir.
Installation is quick and straightforward using the included fittings, tubing, and leveling system. Once connected to a reservoir, the system provides reliable, long-term irrigation.
During early plant growth, only 6 capillary strips are required. Additional strips can be activated later in the season for high-demand crops such as tomatoes or squash.
After installation, water the bed thoroughly once to prime the system. From then on, the AQUAbox Spyder manages irrigation automatically.
Note: Requires an external water reservoir (such as a rain barrel).
