The indoor Blumat system is a self-priming technique. This is done via an external or built-in reservoir. Simple assembly since it does not have to be connected to the water mains.
As soon as the root ball starts to dry, a negative pressure is formed in the cone and water starts to flow from the reservoir. So Blumat automatically fills the moisture in the soil until the water in the tank is finished, without making the root ball too wet. An ideal solution if you ever want to go on vacation without asking others to care for your plants.
