HOZELOCK PURE BIOMIX DRIED NETTLE 100 GRAM

Don't feel like picking nettles for your home made nettle manure? Then Hozelock comes to the rescues with this 100 grams package of dried nettle, that is sufficient for 10 liters of manure. Nettle is rich in nitrogen, mineral salts, iron and promotes soil life. Nettle manure promotes plant growth and stimulates young seeds in the spring. It strengthens plants that e.g. have suffered from hail or frost, and it combats certain fungi, diseases and insects.

Because this nettle is 100% organic, the manure is approved for use in organic agriculture and horticulture. The ideal mixing ratio for the pressure sprayer is 50 ml per liter of water.

If necessary, the nettle can also be fermented with water and sugar, it is therefore a biological insecticide.

To prevent and combat

  • The fungal diseases mildew (whitish disease), downy mildew, potato pest, leaf spot diseases, gray mold, storage diseases, Alternaria and brown rot or monilia rot (fruit trees);
  • Insects such as codling moth, aphids, spider mites, (caterpillars of) cabbage moth and beetles when fermented in combination with sugar.
