Netafim S Capillary Spike 45° 15 cm Black

The Netafim S Capillary Spike 45° is designed for use in capillary drip irrigation systems. Thanks to its 45-degree angled design, water flows along the shaft directly to the tip of the spike, delivering moisture straight to the plant’s root zone.

The inlet of the spike features an internal thread, allowing the capillary tubing to be securely attached. When installed correctly, the tubing will not loosen, ensuring a reliable and leak-free water supply.

By delivering water directly to the roots, evaporation is minimized and weed growth is reduced. Ideal for greenhouses, potted plants, propagation tables, and young plants.

Benefits of the Netafim S Capillary Spike 45°

  • Precise drip delivery: Water is released directly at the roots
  • Efficient water use: Reduced evaporation and water loss
  • Secure connection: Internal thread prevents tubing from loosening
  • Easy installation: Quick and simple to install
  • Durable design: Made from high-quality polypropylene (PP)

Specifications

Capillary System

The capillary system consists of a thin resistance tube combined with a spike. The water output depends on the tubing type (2 l/h or 4 l/h), water pressure, and tubing length.

Suitable for irrigating flowers and vegetables in greenhouses, potted plants, young trees, propagation areas, and growing tables.

Advantages

  • Cost-effective open system
  • Delivers more water at higher pressure

Please note

  • Air may enter the tubing
  • Pressure differences may cause uneven water distribution
  • Not suitable for thick (soil-based) fertilizers due to clogging risk
