Instructions

1. Take a soil sample approximately 4 inches (10 cm) below the surface.
2. Carefully remove the cap from the test tube without spilling the powder.
3. Add soil to the first mark on the tube.
4. Add water up to the fourth mark (preferably boiled and cooled water).
5. Replace the cap and shake thoroughly.
6. Allow the soil to settle.
7. Compare the color of the liquid with the chart on the packaging.

FAQ

The color of my liquid is not on the chart, what went wrong?
Possible reasons: the soil is too cold (best tested at room temperature, approx. 19°C) or the test needs more time to develop. Leave it up to 24 hours and check again. If it still doesn’t match, repeat the test carefully following the instructions.
