Hesi GrowMix 20 Liter

Hesi Growmix is ​​the ideal potting soil for plants with an increased nutritional requirement. In addition to the qualitative characteristics of a stable soil, airy structure, water storage capacity and pH buffering, the durability of the plant substrate is also of great importance. That is why Hesi GrowMix contains a mixture of white and black peat, bark humus, clay mineral and fertilizer. The peat is sustainably produced and all raw materials come from Germany.

The raw materials

• Peat
  Peat naturally has a high water and air capacity and a slightly acidic pH. Peat can absorb many times its own weight in water and soften hard water.
• Bast Humus
  Bast humus can absorb and retain a lot of oxygen and water, and it also serves to revive the soil. Bast humus is composted softwood bark that becomes fermentation-promoting humus through fermentation. This has excellent buffering properties, both for the pH value and for the salt and nutrient content.
• Clay minerals
  Natural clay minerals serve as water reservoirs and ion exchangers. Clay minerals consist of flexible silicate layers between which water, nutrients but also acidic particles can be easily stored, which guarantees a constant pH in the root environment.
• Nutrition
  Hesi GrowMix is ​​enriched with NPK fertilizer and trace elements, plants with a high nutritional requirement are sufficiently fertilized for at least 2 weeks. Plants with a lower nutritional requirement are also supplied for a longer period. The substrate has a slightly acidic pH of around 5.8, which is optimal for plants. The conductivity is 1 mS / cm (25 ° C).
