With the electric scarifier MTD UV Optima 37 VE you can keep your lawn healthy; a beautiful, green, full turf without bare spots or discoloration. The powerful electric motor of 1600 watts in combination with the 37 cm working width makes the machine ideal for lawns to 800 m². Without effort you remove weeds and moss from the grass. The 45 liter collection bag collects the garden waste directly, so that rakes are not required. Finally, the 14 double-sharpened blades, aeration shaft and ontmos-ashes of this Optima 37 PU ensure that your lawn stays in shape.

Grass roots need fresh air to breathe and grow. Unfortunately, the growth is often counterd by a hard layer of moss or plant waste. This leaves little to no room for the roots. To solve this problem, you can use a special rake or machine to scarify the lawn. You then remove the layer of plant waste so your lawn literally gets air again. The grass can breathe and the water reaches the roots. From that moment on your grass will grow again. Scarifying is only necessary twice a year, once in spring and - when experiencing a lot of plant waste - a second time in autumn.
