The filtering process of the pressure filter consists of three steps:

• UVC cleaning: a high wattage UVC lamp eliminates green water.
• Biological filtration: Kaldnes biological filtration purifies the water.
• Mechanical filtration: The mechanical filtration uses small square foam cubes to create a good living environment for the bacteria that are important for the operation of the unique cleaning mechanism.
