PREDATORY MITE (HYPOASPIS MILES) AGAINST SOIL INSECTS 10,000 PCS 25 M²

Hypoaspis miles is a brown colored predatory mite that's about 1 mm large. These natural enemies live in the upper layers (1-4 cm deep) of the substrate (soil, cocopeat and hydro substrates) and feed on harmful soil insects such as Sciarid larvae, pupae of Thrips and Springtails. The Hypoaspos Miles females lay their eggs in the substrate, the development from egg to adult stage takes 10 to 13 days at 25 °C. Hypoaspis Miles feels at best in moist substrates and can go up to 7 weeks without food. Predatory mites are active at temperatures above 10 °C.

Application
After delivery, the predatory mites should be deployed as soon as possible. Press the spreader openings of the sleeve and sprinkle the material on the soil or on the rock wool pot out. Note: Hypoaspis miles is sensitive to various chemical pesticides. Go therefore be careful when controlling other pests and diseases. The application instruction is transmitted.

Working
Immediately after releasing the Hypoaspos Miles they start to look for and a feed on the soil insects that are present in the substrate.

Hypoaspis Miles comes in 1 liter tubes. The carrier substance is a mixture of vermiculite and peat with flour mites as food.

Storage
Hypoaspis Miles can be stored briefly at a temperature of 12-18 °C in a humid place.

Natural enemies can not be returned due to the fact that they are alive.
