The Garland Soil Test Kit pH NPK makes it easy to analyze the most important nutrients in your soil. For healthy plant growth it is essential to monitor the soil’s pH level and the key nutrients Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K). Regular soil testing helps you create optimal growing conditions for vegetables, flowers, lawns, and ornamental plants.
Testing your soil is particularly recommended before spring planting and when preparing autumn beds. If plants show signs of poor growth or discoloration, a soil test can help identify nutrient deficiencies or imbalances.
Follow the detailed instructions provided in the included booklet for the required test. For best results, use a dry soil sample at room temperature (approximately 19°C).
By understanding the pH level and nutrient balance of your soil, you can select suitable plants or improve soil conditions with the appropriate fertilizers.
The colour of my liquid is not shown on the colour chart, what went wrong?
There may be two reasons: the soil used is too cold or the test needs more time to develop. Perform the test with soil at room temperature (around 19°C) or leave the test for up to 24 hours and check the colour again. If the issue persists, repeat the test and ensure the measurements are accurate.
